Review:
When Katie Mercier's parents die in a tragic car accident she and her sister have to move in with their grandparents in Paris.
The only way Kate can deal with what happened is surrounding herself with books and art, reading until she can't no more and visiting all the museums she can. Until she meets the mysterious Vincent.
As Katie starts to get to know Vincent, and falls madly in love with him, she discovers that he's a revenant, a mythical creature, also an undead one, whose fate is to sacrifice himself countless times to save the lives of others. Like every being on Earth, revenants have an enemy, a group of evil revenants whose one purpose is to cause murder and betrayal, as well as commit it.
Kate steps into this world and starts to find out the dangerous and dark world of the undead.
For starters this book isn't good it's great! I loved the story surroundings and all the little details about Paris and even world history present in this work. The characters were all very distinct from each other and every single one of them has a background story that affects their personality and I think that is very important.
I had never read a book about revenants and love all the work that was put in the story because all the mythology and background stories are on point!
With this work you discover several things that are mentioned such as artwork, movies, books, historical facts and events and so many little, but very important, I loved to discover so many things in such little time.
This is the perfect book to read while you snuggle comfortably in your space while drinking a hot beverage and hearing the rain falling outside your window, which means that it is the perfect fall book.
If you love heartbreaking stories that turn into a passionate romance in the city of love (who doesn't?) then this book is for you, if not you should give it a try because it's really worth it!

Challenge:
So since we're talking about Paris I have a little challenge for you... Can you tell me what's the big monument that's right in front of what's represented in the following photo?
If you read "Anna and the French Kiss" by Stephanie Perkins you'll know!
