Summary:

You think it's safe to walk alone at night. It's not.
You think the only threat is other humans. It's not.
Monsters are real. Demons are real. Vampires are real.
And I'm about to become one of them.
My name is Arianna Spero. I was an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life, until my mother lapsed into a coma. Now, I am her only hope. She made a deal with the devil, and on my 18th birthday he came to collect. But there's a way to save her. There's something the princes of hell want more than my mother.
Me.
So I signed my soul away and promised to pick a prince to marry. I would take the blood oath, become one of them, and give them an heir. I would become a princess of hell, and my mother would live.
I expected fire and brimstone. I expected pain and misery. I didn't expect beauty. I didn't expect magic.
I didn't expect love.
But the princes are keeping secrets from me.
Secrets that could shatter everything. - Goodreads

Review:
Arianna Spero lives an ordinary life with her mum, working at a bar in order to keep their apartment. Life may not be easy but it is simple and they face it together.
When Arianna's mother enters into a coma, she discovers that there is a whole world that she doesn't know and that her mother had made a deal with the actual devil. In order to save her mother, Arianna makes a new deal in which the final result is she marrying one of the Princes of Hell and Becoming Queen. That seems to be the only way to get her mother's soul back.
She expected to find a devilish awful world but, instead, she is confronted with beauty, peace and love. Even then, the Princes are keeping secrets from her and her life is in danger so she must finally discover what is going on...
When a book presents you with diverse characters and various settings you just know that it has to be good. That was what I felt when I started reading this book.
Arianna Spero is a strong and independent female character who isn't afraid to fight for her goals and to defend the ones she loves. She is also a stranger in a new and odd environment and passes through the stages of adapting to a new "home".
The Princes are also very well written, in a way that they are all very different from each other. Each of them has his own little peculiarities that make them so diverse and funny (sometimes scary) to read about. It also has to be mentioned that the way the author was able to write social settings and odd situations accomplished its goals on being absolutely breathtaking and realistic.
What I found most amazing throughout this book was the quantity of folklore and myths inserted and mixed into one story and plot. The quantity of research and imaginative qualities of the author is very noticeable in the entire book!
If you are in the mood for some light and enjoyable reading I suggest that you pick up this book!
