Finn thought she was just another normal girl and that her life would eventually change when she got older, but that was really far away until one night she starts to have mysterious nightmares about strangers.
The arrival of a new boy in town seems to be related to her strange dreams and to the disappearance of her mother shortly after but she couldn't even imagine the truth that the boy brought with him and the way that it would turn her life into an utter mess.
Ripped from everything she has ever known or possessed, Finn embarks on an adventure to find out about her origins and powers and find out how in the world she's going to escape the claws of her evil biological father, that intends to use her to increase his power.
I have to start my chain of thoughts by stating that this is one of those books where you just can't stop reading! It's interesting and engaging with awesome characters and a marvellous plot that will make you fall in love with it.
You'll want to find out more about the witches and where they came from. You'll really want to know what Finn is really capable of and what happens to her, but better, you'll care.
In order to make you get to the level where you're going to feel really bad if something happens to certain characters that means that they are really great characters that possess traits that differentiate them from others and make them peculiar and unique.
Even though there are some things that are a little too predictable this book is magical in every way possible.
This is a perfect read for YA fantasy lovers, and even if that's not your cup of tea you should give it a try, it's worth it!
